Finding a therapist can feel daunting. There are an overwhelming number of choices of people and types of therapy in the world. However not every type (called modality) is available everywhere and there is a chronic lack of therapists in general. Lack of availability makes this search even more complicated. But we never know when a space will open up or a new therapist will move into the area. Help in our healing can be. That is the hope. And in hope I have listed some ways to help in the process of finding and beginning therapy.
